This product is also safe because it will not overheat! The self-regulating technology will not allow the element to reach unsafe temperatures, which is one of the reasons why it can be safely installed under almost any flooring!
Efficient
Because the elements are self-regulating and cover 60 percent of the floor surface (due to the design of the product), STEP Warmfloor™ is about 30 percent more efficient than cable and hydronic (hot water) systems and up to 60 percent more efficient than conventional forced air systems, resulting in very low operating costs.
Additionally, because you are in direct contact with the heat source, you are comfortable at a lower thermostat setting using less energy and helping save money on your electric bill.
Reliable
This product is very unique in that it does not require a water boiler, like some other radiant floor systems, and it does not require you to make any changes to your existing heating system (if you have one).
