Because Wright-Hennepin is member-owned, building solid relationships with those served by the cooperative is an important part of its business model. That is why Wright-Hennepin is a member of 11 local chambers and attends an average of 52 events in local communities each year, including parades and community festivals.  
     
 

Wright-Hennepin’s Operation Round Up program contributes thousands of dollars each year to local charities and worthy causes.

Additionally, helping preserve the local environment through tree seedling distributions, osprey banding projects, Lake Maria clean-up efforts and the “adopt a highway” program, are some of the many ways Wright-Hennepin contributes to local communities.

Wright-Hennepin’s scholarship program distributes thousands of dollars annually to local youths as well, and the cooperative sponsors one local youth on a tour of Washington D.C. each summer.
