Tongs flipping sizzling pork chops on a grill.On Thursday, April 20, Wright-Hennepin (WH) will celebrate its 2017 Annual Meeting. The event is hosted at WH’s headquarters in Rockford, Minn. – 6800 Electric Drive – and is free to all members. Registration begins at 4 p.m., with a complimentary pork chop dinner served from 4:30 p.m. to 6:45 p.m. Free parking and shuttles will be available

Full schedule:

  • Registration Opens: 4 p.m.
  • FREE Pork Chop Dinner: 4:30 p.m. - 6:45 p.m. served by the Wright County 4-H Federation
  • Bingo: 4:30 p.m. - 6:45 p.m.
  • Children's Activities: 4:30 p.m. - 8 p.m. for ages 2-10 conducted by area Girl Scouts
  • Business Meeting: 7 p.m. - 8 p.m. 

Prizes and Children's Area

Get ready to win more great prizes during bingo from 4:30 p.m. to 6:45 p.m., plus informational booths will feature prize drawings. There's a little something for everyone at our Annual Meeting, so bring the kids and turn them loose in our kids' area featuring toys, games, face painting and much more! Each child who checks in to the children's area will be entered to win one of four children's bikes! Interact with us during the event on social media using the hashtag #TheCooperativeDifference for a chance to win a GoPro! 

Business Meeting

A short business meeting will follow at 7 p.m. where members will be presented with the 2016 financial report. They will also hear from the cooperative's President and CEO, Tim Sullivan, Board Chair Erick Heinz, WH Holding Board Chair Timothy Young and WH Holding COO Wendy Youngren. Results of director elections in Districts 2, 5 and 7 will also be announced. For those who wish to see the business meeting but cannot attend, WH will live-stream the meeting

Following the business meeting, we will announce the winner of the grand prize - a 2011 automatic Chevy Silverado extended cab pickup with 174,000 miles. Each voting member will also receive a free pound of butter and a special gift commemorating WH's 80th year of providing safe, reliable and affordable energy. Both will be handed out while exiting the building after the meeting. You must be present until the end of the business meeting to receive butter, special anniversary gift and to have a chance to win the vehicle.
