Rebates

Rebates are available for members who purchase a ground source heat pump, air source heat pump, air conditioner or electronic commutated motors. These members must also be enrolled in an Off-Peak program. Additional criteria may also be required.

Electrical permits

The State of Minnesota recently implemented a new requirement for state electrical inspection permits. Electricians and/or homeowners who wire their own home must now complete an inspection form online. The state will no longer will accept a paper copy of electric permits.

Off-Peak programs

Wright-Hennepin offers Off-Peak programs to help members reduce their energy costs and use. About 50 percent of  Wright-Hennepin members are already saving money because they are enrolled in at least one of Wright-Hennepin's Off-Peak programs. To sign up, members can either call or email Wright-Hennepin, and we'll take care of the rest.

Become a preferred contractor

Become a Wright-Hennepin preferred contractor

Wright-Hennepin now recommends a list of preferred contractors to our members for contractor services. These contractors are familiar with WH’s products and Off-Peak equipment. They have attended seminars and trainings that have qualified them to become a WH preferred contractor. If you would like to become a qualified contractor, this page will tell you how.

Important forms

For home builders or contractors, it may be necessary to apply for new electric service for a home that was recently built or to discontinue electric service at a home that will be demolished. Submit the appropriate form below to accomplish this.
