Wright-Hennepin’s Budget Billing payment program takes the seasonal peaks and valleys out of your electric bill because it allows you to pay a set amount monthly.

The set monthly payment amount is based on an average of your previous year’s electric use. Once signed up, you will be billed a set amount for 11 months with the 12th month designated as a reconciliation month. If on the 12th month, you have a credit (you used less energy than you paid for), it will be applied to your statement. If you used more electricity than projected by your set amount, the 12th month will reflect a charge for the additional balance due.
