Air source heat pumps provide heating and cooling in one efficient and economical system that looks like a central air conditioning unit. They are proven to be 1.5 to 2 times more efficient than a high efficiency gas furnace down to 25 degrees Fahrenheit.

In the summer, air source heat pumps work the same as standard central air conditioning units to cool your home. The difference is that during the cooler months, the same technology is used to bring heat into the home by reversing the heat pump process.
