Apply Your Capital Credit Return to Your Bill
Each year, Wright Hennepin returns capital credits to the members who make our cooperative possible. It’s one of the many ways we give back to those we serve.
If you’ve purchased electricity from WH, you’ll receive a capital credit return at some point. In fact, about 90% of WH members receive a return annually, and WH has returned capital credits for 45 consecutive years as of December 2025.
How Returns Are Distributed
- Members with return of $25.00 or more will receive a check by mail.
- Returns of $24.99 or less are automatically applied as a credit to your electric bill.
Prefer a Bill Credit Instead of a Check?
Some members choose to have their annual capital credit return applied directly to their WH bill instead of receiving a mailed check.
