Apply Your Capital Credit Refund to Your Bill
Each year, Wright Hennepin returns capital credits to the members who make our cooperative possible. It’s one of the many ways we give back to those we serve.
If you’ve purchased electricity from WH, you’ll receive a capital credit refund at some point. In fact, about 90% of WH members receive a refund annually, and WH has returned capital credits for 45 consecutive years as of December 2025.
How Refunds Are Distributed
- Members with refunds of $10.00 or more will receive a check by mail.
- Refunds of $9.99 or less are automatically applied as a credit to your electric bill.
Prefer a Bill Credit Instead of a Check?
Some members choose to have their annual capital credit refund applied directly to their WH bill instead of receiving a mailed check.
