How Does It Work?

The program uses a separate meter for your EV charging station, and your energy rate varies based on the time of day you charge your EV. Charging is available anytime, but you'll save the most by charging overnight during off-peak hours. Rates are not subject to the Power Cost Adjustment (PCA).

Requirements

Vehicle must be a BEV or PHEV with a minimum 4.5 kW charger rating
New or existing 240V, wall-mounted, hardwired Level 2 charger
Requires a separate outdoor meter socket
Enroll in WH's EV Time-of-Use Program

Work with a licensed electrician to install qualifying EV charging equipment (if you don't already have one).
Complete a state electrical inspection.
Submit rebate paperwork (if you installed a new Level 2 charging station).
We'll activate your Time-of-Use rate and process your bill credit.
