Wright-Hennepin to Host Events Celebrating National Co-Op Month

Rockford, Minn. (October 2, 2026) — To celebrate National Co-op Month in October, Wright-Hennepin Cooperative Electric Association (WH) will host two events at its Rockford headquarters.

The Member Appreciation Luncheon will be held Tuesday, October 13 from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Members are invited to join WH for hamburgers, chips, potato salad, and a cookie while supplies last. Members who attend can enter for a chance to win one of three $50 WH bill credits. This year, members can also enter to win a free WH Security basic system. New and existing WH Security customers can enter to win a free security camera and six months of video storage.

WH is also hosting its annual Fall Festival on Thursday, October 15. The open house event runs from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. This year’s event will include an inflatable slide, pumpkin decorating, balloon animals for kids ages 3 and up, a magic show, and more. Members are invited to bring their families to enjoy a fun night out celebrating with their electric cooperative and its involvement in the community. Attendees are invited to wear their family-friendly Halloween costumes. Members can again enter to win a free WH Security basic system for new and existing customers, or a free security camera and six months of video storage for new and existing customers.

Both events are free for WH members to attend. National Co-op Month has been recognized across the country since 1964 and is an opportunity for cooperatives to celebrate the difference they make in the communities they serve.
